The heat has definitely arrived. I guess that is what to expect during the summer in St. George. Here's a video of Emily enjoying the water.

We were able to catch Emily singing to Audrey. I really think Emily has done very well considering she is no longer the only one. Audrey is fairly quiet so it is easy to continue to pay attention to Emily.

Audrey got to the high risk zone for excess of bilirubin- aka jaundice. So, she spent some time under the lights. They delivered this handy machine to our house, and Ryan and I took turns watching and consoling her. The lights are bad for the eyes, so we had to make sure she didn't take the goggles off. We also monitored her temperature and food intake and output. She didn't like it at first, but then gave up and tried to sleep her time away. I really enjoyed the few minutes I had with her every 2 hours when she ate. We were relieved when the next day we were able to stop the treatment! We thought these poses were cute...

Audrey Marie Johnson

She has arrived! Audrey Marie Johnson, born June 12, 2010 at 8:23 a.m. MDT, weighing 5 lb 14 oz and 18 inches long. Granted she is very light, we are happy that at least she is comparable to Emily and weighed 6 oz more. All Friday night Anne wasn't feeling good so we went in around 6 and she was just about ready to have her. Here's the famous shot. Maybe not too pretty but that's how babies are before they are all cleaned up. You can see her weight at just over 5 lbs 14 oz. She makes Emily seem really big right now even though she's pretty small herself.

Here is a picture of Audrey where she was worked on by the nurses just after birth. I like to think this is her stretching out enjoying the new space.


Shortly after delivery Emily and Grandma Disner arrived and Emily got to meet her new sister. Here's the great crew. Emily was a little hesitant I would say at first but enjoyed saying "hi", "baby" and observing. (FYI: Audrey was yawning, not screaming in the picture)

I thought I'd add this one in as well since this is the smile we've grown to love. The first time with olives on her fingers made her quite happy.

36 Weeks- This picture is for Michael and Nora because they bought me this dress (my only maternity dress!).

35 Weeks

This picture is especially for Marisa, who always asks for an update on my belly's growth. Supposedly my doctor says that I will probably have my baby within the next 10 days from now, so you just might get an update on Sunday when I am 36 weeks. We shall see...:)
