Emily and Grace have a play date once a week. They are finally getting use to each other and interacting, so it is fun for us mommies. Emily enjoys it when Grace chases after her. Even though Grace looks much older than Emily, they are only 2 months apart! And now both mommies are expecting again- we are only 3 weeks apart!

My birthday and of course- some more of Emily
I had a wonderful birthday, except for the fact that I didn't blow out my candles for the first time ever. I hope it doesn't mean anything bad....I figured it was because I was smiling really big and not paying attention. And because I am pregnant (which always means that I don't have any energy), and because I was holding Emily. Anyways, we have a video of it, but I don't want to embarrass myself anymore than I already have with telling you. So, here is the only picture of my 24th birthday. We went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse (one of my favorite places to eat), but this time I got MY OWN plate instead of sharing with Ryan. We usually share since we both eat as much as a regular person, but this time I wanted my own steak, my own loaded potato, and my own Caesar salad. Of course, we both had lunch for the next day! It was a delicious dinner and a wonderful day full of phone calls, visits, and emails! Thanks to everyone!
Emily sometimes walks around with bent knees, and she thinks it is really fun. I have been trying to catch it on video, and this is the best that I have. So, hopefully you enjoy.
Emily got this doll for Christmas, but hasn't really cared for it until now.
Here is the second part...

Ryan, Emily, and I went to the park yesterday. Melodee and Alanis were there as well. We played a little with the soccer ball, but the girls didn't care too much for that, so we went to the swings and slides. They loved it. Emily especially likes to ride facing us and rest her head on our chests. I loved her cuddling!

Oh, and this is me at 20 weeks. I didn't realize how big I was until I saw this picture!

Here are some cute pictures of Emily after church, but they aren't centered or anything because she refused to stand still for a nice picture.

Here is a video of her playing soccer...
She is ready for dress-up... She enjoys going into my closet and bringing out my shoes to try on. She is finally getting the hang of it. You may also notice her new necklace from one of her friends- although she still wears the other ones as well.
She understands quite a bit of what I am saying these days. When I say "let's go change your diaper," or "let's go take a bath," she stops whatever she is doing and runs to the stairs. When I ask her if she wants a drink or a snack, she runs to the kitchen. I don't get much caught on camera, but here is a simple example of her understanding... she knows what a cat says.
