We had the annual Easter egg hunt at our neighborhood's park on Saturday. Emily found a special egg as you will see in the video. We also colored eggs, and had a really good accident as you can notice in some videos and pictures. She was running around the house and looking behind her instead of forward. Therefore, she didn't notice the stereo on the floor in front of her, tripped over it and hit her forehead smack on the tile. It was not pretty at first: it actually scared me to see how big and red it was! I ran to the kitchen and got her a bag of peas to put on her head, and some candy to make her stop crying.

On Sunday, she woke up and had another Easter egg hunt and enjoyed her basket. Audrey loved her little treats as well! We went to Stake conference, and then I came home and was busy busy until dinner at Rees and Markay's at 4:00. I made two apple pies (I sliced up the apples the night before), a fruit salad, and rolls (Rhodes rolls). I wasn't about to tackle homemade rolls AND pies...:)

Audrey is also walking WITH ASSISTANCE now. She will be walking soon....:)

Our Little Mover

Audrey has now mastered the stairs. Whenever we are not watching, the stairs must be gated! She has her first two bottom teeth. They came at the same time. She loves to eat table food, and I think she likes it better than the milk I am giving her.

Emily loves the Apple Juice popsicles, and decided to be nice and share with Audrey. (Thanks Marisa for the popsicle makers!)

Clark County Rodeo

Yesterday I went with Emily to the rodeo. Audrey was not feeling well so we weren't all able to go. It was the Clark County Fair and Rodeo which was near Las Vegas so it was a little over an hour drive. The tickets were free so that is the reason for going so far. Emily was able to see all sorts of animals including horses, cows, sheep, pigs, goats, chickens, rabbits, camels etc. which she enjoyed and saw her first rodeo. It was rather cold but she held up very well. Better than myself since I started getting a headache near the end of the rodeo and had a not so enjoyable ride home. Oh well. Emily loved it which is all that matters. Here are a few pictures from our fun together.

This is what happens when I ask someone else to take a picture of us. The first is clear but she takes it as I'm trying to get Emily to focus, and the second where I'm actually smiling its fuzzy. Just imagine the best features of the two combined.

Here is a video of the rodeo clowns stunt. I thought it was pretty good. Supposedly this bike he's riding is over $170K. The clown kept us entertained throughout.

We can't leave Audrey out. Here are a few videos of her. She is moving around well and has a wonderful smile.

Anne was able to catch Emily playing the piano and singing. She is getting pretty good at primary songs - singing that is.
