This was before we went on a walk. She doesn't really like the sun in her eyes, so we bought her a hat that does the job beautifully!

For some reason, she thought it was funny every time the frog was upside down...

Today we went on a drive to see what was in Pine Valley. I had heard of the place before so in wanting to get away for an afternoon we took the 30 minute drive and were pleasantly surprised with how nice it was. Here are a few pictures of the trip and a couple more of Emily. Supposedly Pine Valley was an old Mormon community back in the 1800's. They say the church built there was supposed to look like an upside down ship, but I didn't see the resemblance. Its probably 15 minutes south of the Mountain Meadows historical landmark. We now know a close place to get away from the summer heat!



Emily is not a camera person yet. When she sees the camera, it's all serious. I guess that's expected since I love the camera as well:).

Emily loves to scream in a very high-pitched voice all day long! She also laughs and smiles a ton! Enjoy!
