Fun Stuff...

I got to babysit Grace and Hudson while my friend went to the temple. Emily and Grace have been friends since birth. Now Audrey and Hudson are good friends. They all play so well together. Emily and Grace are only a couple of months apart. Hudson and Audrey are 1 week apart.

Audrey is now truly crawling, even though she has been mobile for months now. She also loves to pull herself up to stand anywhere possible. I will get a video of that sometime. She also knows how to groove with the music...

Emily loves to sing. She knows many songs, but here is "I am a Child of God."

This is the first time Emily has fallen asleep anywhere but the car or crib. Great Grandpa was visiting, and she did not like it. She freaked out and wanted to stay in this spot of our room pretty much the whole time he was here. While there, she fell asleep. She did not have a nap that day, and she was pooped.

Our little dancer!

Well, Emily has her first break! I tried to remember the name of the fracture, but I can't. So, that is all the information I have for you. She will have this lovely cast on for 3 weeks until the fracture heals. Now, for the story. Last Friday night, Emily was dancing to her music and saying, "Look at me!" Then, I heard a screaming cry. I turned to find her on the floor hurting. For the next 24 hours she cried when she tried to walk on it, but there wasn't any swelling or bruising. So, of course, we thought it was just a sprain. On Sunday, she seemed to be better- she walked without crying, and with a limp. This continued until yesterday (1 week later), she was still limping and kind of whined when I put on her socks and shoes. I would just tell her, "Oh, stop it!" To make the story shorter, we went to visit Daddy at work. While we were there, I told him that we should probably take her in to the doctor. He said, "Let me take a look." He examined her foot and asked, "Does this hurt?" She started to cry. Well, I made the appointment, and now she has a cast on her foot...

On another note, Audrey is now lifting herself up. I thought it was cool that she can now be by herself in a room of toys- well sometimes. She enjoys playing with Emily, but Emily does not like it as much. I guess it begins! Audrey admires Emily already and wants to play with the same toys as her. But, Emily is not happy about it! I can't leave them in a room together...
