4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July. We did our own barbecue for lunch, and then we were invited to another barbecue in the evening. Then, Emily had a birthday party for her friend Alanis. After that, we did our own fireworks in our backyard. The girls are so funny! You will want to watch the videos over and over again! Emily had so much fun, that Ryan decided to take her up the hill behind our house to watch the fireworks at the Dixie Bowl.

Home

After the reunion, Emily continued to get worse. She got to the point where she wouldn't keep down even a sip of water, so I took her to the urgent care. She was diagnosed with Strep Throat. Who would have thought!? They gave her a shot and some good ol' amoxicylin. She was feeling better within a couple of days and off we went: to the zoo.

We went to the beach a couple more times.... Audrey loved the beach, even when it was freezing. Emily, on the other hand, was like her mommy: ready to go home.


Audrey had mixed feelings about grandma's dog, Chino.

The Seegmiller's Farm

Before we left to CA, we were able to visit my friend, Jami''s farm in Washington (here in St. George). We not only got to ride horses, but Emily LOVED the other farm animals: goats, tons of bunnies (including cute baby ones), geese, chickens, and cows.




Even Audrey got to ride, which made it a little more difficult for me.

We had the Disner family reunion at a resort in Dana Point, CA. We took pictures...


Hung around...

Kissed...


Gave more kisses...


Went to the beach and pool...

And, enjoyed each others food and company. While at the resort, Ryan and Emily got sick with some kind of stomach flu along with many others! We passed around the Pepto and crackers, and enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to clean the bathroom. We just called room service! On the last day of the reunion, we had two baby blessings: Eliyah Paulino and Samuel Disner. Ryan drove home after the blessings and food, while the girls stayed another week and a half!

Audrey is 1

This is a little late, but oh well. Audrey turned 1 on June 12th. We celebrated with the usual: cake and gifts. I don't know how we didn't get any pictures of her smiling while eating her cake....

Around this same age, Emily would also spend her time putting on necklaces and then taking them off. This is how I found Audrey...I didn't even know she knew what to do with necklaces!





Audrey AND EMILY loved the baby! Emily plays with it the most...
