On Friday, I decided to go to California for my sister's baby shower and to visit the family. My mom is taking my sisters Cassie and Vanessa to EFY, so she is passing through St. George this weekend. Ryan and I rented a car and drove to California Friday after work. I went to Evy's baby shower on Saturday morning, while Ryan hung out with my dad shopping and playing soccer. Later that afternoon we went to the beach. Ryan went home on Sunday, and I stayed behind until Thursday when we will go to St. George.

The weekend of the 19th, Ryan and I attended his family reunion in Idaho. I will probably post more pictures, but these are a few from a hike that we all took together.

I am having a girl!

Today I went to the doctor's for an ultrasound. I finally broke a 100 pounds which is really good news! I am sure I will continue to gain weight as the months pass. The doctor had a lot of fun trying to get the baby in good positions since she was moving like crazy. She kept saying that my baby was very active and healthy. The baby was moving nonstop throughout the whole ultrasound. I was so happy to hear that it was a girl, and I think Ryan enjoyed it as well. Although it still looks like an alien, I thought she was so beautiful- even on the screen. Words can't express how happy I am! My belly is still small, but the doctor said it is exactly as it should be for 20 (almost 21) weeks.

Les Miserables

Tuachan is an outdoor theatre surrounded by the beautiful red rock St. George is known to have. Although these pictures don't do it justice, it really is a beautiful place. We went to see the musical Les Miserables, and we were both impressed by the talent. No wonder the tickets are so expensive!
