I had a wonderful birthday, except for the fact that I didn't blow out my candles for the first time ever. I hope it doesn't mean anything bad....I figured it was because I was smiling really big and not paying attention. And because I am pregnant (which always means that I don't have any energy), and because I was holding Emily. Anyways, we have a video of it, but I don't want to embarrass myself anymore than I already have with telling you. So, here is the only picture of my 24th birthday. We went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse (one of my favorite places to eat), but this time I got MY OWN plate instead of sharing with Ryan. We usually share since we both eat as much as a regular person, but this time I wanted my own steak, my own loaded potato, and my own Caesar salad. Of course, we both had lunch for the next day! It was a delicious dinner and a wonderful day full of phone calls, visits, and emails! Thanks to everyone!

Emily sometimes walks around with bent knees, and she thinks it is really fun. I have been trying to catch it on video, and this is the best that I have. So, hopefully you enjoy.
Emily got this doll for Christmas, but hasn't really cared for it until now.
Here is the second part...

aawh...I wanted to see you [not]blow out your candles!
Emily is such a GIRL!
Happy Birthday Anne! We sure do love to keep up with your family through your blog. Emily is darling. I remember when I was pregnant with number two feeling so sad (actually anguishing) that my first born would not me my one and only anymore. I'm sure you are feeling the same way. Things change, but for the better! What better gift to give Emily than a sister to be her best friend forever!
