They had a BLAST getting dressed up! The make-up was their favorite part. Emily wanted to stare at herself forever, and wanted to reapply her lipstick often. Audrey of course didn't keep the jewelry or crown on, but Emily wore hers all afternoon and evening! Daddy took them out for about an hour and a half, while I stayed home and passed out candy!

October
This last week of October has been quite eventful. While the girls got to wait up for their daddy to come home from being out of town, they enjoyed a night of dress-up. Emily got pretty creative and was a pirate raccoon princess. I thought they looked cute.
They also had a blast on the jumping pillow with daddy.
We finally carved our pumpkin now that daddy is back in town with us! I drew the design from an idea online, and daddy carved it. The girls didn't want to participate with cleaning the pumpkin out, so they enjoyed some hot chocolate while we did the work. We also enjoyed eating the traditional roasted pumpkin seeds afterwards.
Audrey and Emily enjoyed going on a hike with Daddy this past Saturday evening.
We went to the Staheli Farm pumpkin patch this past Friday evening, and then went out to dinner. They both enjoyed the "horse" swings. Although they both tried the corn slide, Emily ended up going many times after. Audrey was okay with one time!

Emily's 4th Birthday Party!
We had Emily's 4th birthday party yesterday. My mom and my sister Marisa came on Thursday. Friday morning, Emily and Audrey woke up to see her first birthday gift: a doll house. My mom brought that with her as her gift. They have already spent hours each day playing with it!
After putting on their make-up, we had them all take pictures in front of the castle, that was given to me to use.
Now, it was tea time! They all sat at the table and were able to serve themselves their own food and tea (apple juice). I regret not taking pictures of the cute little sandwiches! The adults also were able to enjoy some yummy food and herbal tea. My mom brought cute cups and plates with her!
Then, we sang Happy Birthday, ate cupcakes, and opened presents.Love the make-up!
We ended the party with a couple of games, but that wasn't the end for Emily! When everyone left, she had us open up all of her gifts to play with. We all took naps while she played! All in all, the party was a blast, and I couldn't have done it without my mom and sister! They did it all! Ryan also did a great job with the tables and castle!
